Haridwar University just took a big step to meet this demand. On September 11, 2026, the university signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Uttarakhand Chapter. The event took place at the Haridwar university's Roorkee campus on Soni Road.
How the Event looked like
The signing ceremony brought together leaders from both sides. Prof. (Dr.) Adesh Kumar Arya, Pro Vice Chancellor of Haridwar University, led the university's delegation. He was joined by Registrar Lieutenant Sumit Chauhan, OSD Mr. Abhinav Bhatnagar, and the heads of two key departments: Dr. Himanshu Verma from Computer Science & Engineering, and Dr. Rohit Kumar from Computer Applications. Faculty Coordinator Ms. Mrinalini Singh also attended, along with many faculty members and students.
From CSA Uttarakhand Chapter and IntelligenceX, 4 representatives took part: Mr. Satyam Rastogi, Ms. Inshu Dujeja, Mr. Varun Kannojia, Mr. Deepak Sharma. The university welcomed all of them warmly before the program began.

Mr. Satyam Rastogi, Chapter Leader of CSA Uttarakhand, opened the session with a simple message: Cybersecurity careers are booming, and students need to prepare now. He walked the audience through CSA's mission and the opportunities it offers young learners. Cloud security, he explained, is one of the fastest-growing fields in tech today.
Then came the highlight of the day. Representing the UKCSA Chapter, Mrs. Inshu Dudeja led an interactive session. She didn't just lecture. Students from both the Computer Science and Computer Applications departments joined in eagerly.
